Why Is Batman the killing joke so hard to find its not in any of the local book stores and the guy tried to order it for me but they couldnt get it in!
I'm not a master comic collecter just a kid who picks up a few now and again so could anyone explain why it isnt in?
And is it worth it seeing as I already know what happens in it?
Also can anyone recommend anymore good books (I like all DC characters) , I enjoyed the red hood storyline and Identity crisis and I do have a soft spot for family bonding and stuff so if theres any books that you can reccomend I would greatly appreciate!

Thankyou!

It's collected in a book called DC Universe: The Stories of Alan Moore, if
you can't find it separately. That was only recently printed so it shouldn't
be hard to order.

If all you want to do is read it.... and not concerned about owning
it... you can download the eComic "scanned version".
I've done that with a couple of my favorites, Dark Knight and Killing
Joke. I looked for a direct download but only found bittorrent files
which would mean installing a torrent client if you're into that. (I
recommend uTorrent... and a good site for comics is demonoid.com)
I dl'd Killing Joke just now and it's 22 MB.... In adobe .pdf format.

I thought Id like to read these couple books again but found I prefer
reading from the originals than a computer screen.
So I opened my bagged/boarded nm/m 1st printings and read them again
lol. They arent worth anything anymore anyway.
Just an option I thought I'd mention.

I havent read since the late 90's but a few of my faves are....

Batman: The Dark Knight
Justice League ( 80's or 90's version I forget... if u like silliness)
Crisis on Infinite Earths (the crossovers were good too. I only read
the titles I was already into)
early JLA
they say Watchmen is great but I tried 4 times.... got bored 1/12th of
the way in.
and of course The Killing Joke

Good luck.

Could you give me an invite for demonoid.com? Says they don't accept
registrations except on weekends -and I work weekends...
Thanks.

Hi.. Im not a member either. I just mentioned that site because it has
a category called "Comics" when most have them listed under "books".
So I can't send you an invite.

If youre looking for The Killing Joke I found it here today....

Just be careful.... most sites have categories called "porn"... but
some even blatantly show it to you.

Hey there

I'm for LOTDK for download. Someone mentioned demonoid.com on another
thread, and there's a Torrent of issues 1-108, but unless you're a
member you can't get it, and membership is closed. Does anyone have this
torrent?

Thanks
